The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey 2012
Loved HFR in combination with 3D. Loved seeing all the old characters back in action. Loved the detail throughout the movie as was the case with the LOTR films. Loved the CGI, trolls were great, Erebor was great, Gollum was great. Can't wait for part 2 & 3.

Lincoln 2012
The quintessential tale of Abraham Lincoln filmed and the assassination is not in it, Steven? Seriously! Beautiful role of Daniel-Day Lewis, unfortunately as a European I don not know any character from the movie apart from Lincoln and general Grant. Therefore it was hard to connect to this movie. The vote was portrayed as an exciting course of events.

Stolen 2012
Nicholas Cage in a heist / action / kidnap movie which isn't that bad. The only thing that detracts from the flow is the FBI boss seems to effortlessly come up with clues to the whereabouts of Nick just like that, no effort what so ever. I'll bet you want to know if the money didn't burn!
