Excellent film that didn't rely on shock and gore to scare. It builds tension, which doesn't seem to be deemed important enough in horror these days. Ti West is obviously influenced by asian cinema as this film has the same over all tone as similar ghost stories. This has inspired me to watch House of the Devil tonight.
