Demons 2 1986

Donald May Jr’s review:
Not "really' a sequel to the original DEMONS. It's more of a re-imagining, since it's almost exactly the same movie. The difference is, this one takes place in an apartment complex instead of a theatre. I actually like the demon carnage in this film more than the original. It has a few more shocks, and it also has a bit role for a very young Asia Argento. The only real misstep is that silliness with the demon puppet terrorizing the pregnant woman.
I don't know what it is about Demons 2, but I watch it with far more frequency that the original, which is obviously a better film. This is just so batshit crazy, that I also really enjoy the carnage. The puppet monster, which my brother and I through many viewings have labeled the "true demon", is so unintentionally funny, that it ranks up there with the epic battle in Rock and Roll Nightmare.
