I actually like this one a lot. Some shoddy CGI work aside, I found this one to be a fun, exciting and engaging 'prequel' to John Carpenter's remake. Sure, it sort of derails at the end and turns into something like the CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND "S.E.", but other than that I dig it. Didn't get a fair shake at the theatre and, honestly, neither did Carpenter's film for that matter.
