I liked this more than I thought I would.

Funny and smart. A fitting end to the trilogy. It was nice to see Pepper Potts save the day rather than being a "Help me! Help me!" generic female character.

Disappointing. Not as good as it thought it would be. Sean Penn giving us a pantomime dame villain.

Seen as part of the "Treasures" section of the London Film Festival. Enjoyable (as much as a film based on a Hardy novel can be). I thought the main actors were excellent and the costumes deserved the Oscar.
