Michael Powell's sinister masterpiece is a classic of horror cinema. Carl Boehm plays the shy but oh-so-creepy Mark who's obsession is to capture the moment of absolute terror in the victim's eyes on camera. It is easy to understand the controversy surrounding the picture upon its release, but these days is rightfully considered a classic. The point of view directorial style is outstanding. Deeply unsettling, sure, but a pleasure.
