Indiana Jones meets Broken Sword. There's no emotional journey or subjective storyline but the action sequences are so well put together that you'll need to see it twice to catch everything.

There is no dialogue in this film, but with a great classical soundtrack, a simple love story and some intricate, characterful animation The Illusionist moved me. Reminiscent in tone to the first Broken Sword game it astonishes me that this film is so overlooked.
