Too short (about 45 minute) Herzog documentary on Dr. Gene Scott, a legendary, rancorous Los Angeles televangelist who was broadcasting well into the 2000s. I watched his broadcasts in the late 80s, early 90s, spellbound by his... unique... form of ministry. Perhaps the length is just about right, then, because I seem to recall that about 45 minutes of the mercurial Scott was about all I could take. Herzog manages to catch at least two classic Scott moments live and on the air: refusing to say anything else until he gets the thousand dollars he needs to stay on the air (and when that doesn't work, screaming in rage at the audience), and introducing a bunch of wind-up monkeys as the FCC.
