Freeman Williams’s review published on Letterboxd :
John Frankenheimer did still have the chops int he late 90s, it's just a shame he never seemed to break them out very often. He definitely does in Ronin, in which a team of free-range specialists are gathered together to steal a box with mystery contents from a heavily-guarded courier. The tale has double and triple crosses, incredible chase scenes in crowded European streets, and more than enough action to spare. Great cast, with DeNiro and Reno sharing an easy chemistry that makes you yearn for a sequel.
