What a perfectly lovely film this was. The central relationships were very strong, very well-observed, very touching. I know it's a big, sweeping, saccharine manipulation, but it still worked its golden magic on me, and there were tears during the final held shot. I think this movie had real heart, and it struck a chord with me.
