Stardust's a bit harsh, no?
As a film it's alright. But De Niro is awful in it!
Falling in Love is a treat.
I love De Niro and early Streep, but man I found it such hard work. It was one of his "safe" 80's movies.
I like Stardust, but de Niro's character was a bit much.
I agree with all of these (I still need to see Stardust and I refuse to see Godsend) except, believe it or not, Meet the Fockers. Little Fockers was terrible and I personally did'nt like Meet the Parents. I do however see Meet the Fockers as a fun, funny guilty pleasure.
I would take out all of the Focker films, SHARK TALE, and FALLING IN LOVE and add HIDE AND SEEK, RIGHTEOUS KILL, KILLER ELITE, WHAT JUST HAPPENED, THE GOOD SHEPHERD, STANLEY & IRIS, and THE GANG THAT COULDN'T SHOOT STRAIGHT.
I don't think he's all that bad in Stardust. His turn as Fearless Leader in The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle</>, however... *shudder*
I'm happy to say that I've never seen any of these movies, but I have seen Righteous Kill :(
