Getting ready for The Avengers it was time to rewatch Thor. Saw it on the plane from Europe to the States on a small badly lit screen which didn't do the movie justice. Branagh treats the story as some Shakespearian drama and let's face it, it actually is. Bitter son rebels against his father, brothers face eachother, a war between kingdoms ... There are better Marvel movies, but as an introduction to Thor, it works.
