I'm sure I've seen this before but it's been about 15+ years, so I'm counting it as new. This is the first film from Miyazaki that I showed my boys and it's fantastic. I love the world that this movie shows us. The characters and lush landscapes paint such an amazing picture. More to come...

This is a fun movie and definitely the best hockey movie I've ever seen. It's a lot more heartwarming than I expected. It's also a lot bloodier than I expected. I wish I had a better appreciation for the family structure here. The Dad and brother just seemed so cookie cutter to me. It's not the best movie on ice though, that designation is still reserved for The Cutting Edge.

Crazy violent but as a throwback to late 80's/early 90's action movies, it's a winner. Acting is adequate and world feels a little flat but it's a fun ride.

Wow, what a disappointment. I had heard how funny this was and it was anything but. Lame jokes and at times just gross or inappropriate.
