One of the most surprising films I’ve seen in a long time, I expected nothing from it and got a well-made, effective and superbly atmospheric story set in the world of LARPing. It takes itself seriously but never forgets to make fun of the aspects of game that are truly preposterous. Ending up with a nice personal story about one man trying to find himself and reconnect with his girlfriend. Dark, brooding and a last 20 minutes that can only be described as ‘freakin’ insane’ makes The Wild Hunt a film you SHOULD watch.
