I think this movie is better than 48 Hours. I think. But I'll need to revisit 48 Hours to confirm.

This is pretty much an ideal, 1980s, buddy cop action film. Lots of laughs, and a hard R.

Walter Hill lifts it from forgettable to... lovable.
