NEIL EGAN’s review published on Letterboxd :
The movie looked a little exciting from the trailer but it was far from that.
It was a slow, tedious and pointless road trip in the vain of a modern Thelma & Louise for rednecks.
The 1 star would be for Chloë Grace Moretz who played he role of a 13 year old Lolita very well. She will definitely in the business for some time and will get more roles a la Hugo.
Her home life an alcoholic mess, as she hits the road with nothing but her Lolita sunglasses and the gun she recently received for her 13th birthday. Hitching her way to Las Vegas, she falls under the influence of two very poor role models, a cowboy and a con woman.
Anyway, it all ends with me thinking what was the point in all that.
