Three new war films (Where Eagles Dare, The Dirty Dozen) down and each one had someone die from a parachute jump. All three are fun, thrilling, and exciting. But Bridge is my favorite. Where Eagles last hour is exhilarating and I can hang out with the Dozen any day of the week. But it's the pacing that makes Bridge stand on its own. Where Eagles and Dozen are quickly pace fun genre films that I love. Bridge doesn't need that, it takes it time, lets its actors act, and cinematically the film looks incredible.
