What a strange coincidence that out of the 5 people I follow, I also watched this movie tonight - although I'm not a big of a fan of that line as you are. My thought process was "wow why can't John C Reily act?"
He turned it around as the movie progressed and I think it was more his character - but at first when you aren't aware, he comes off sounding like a high school drama play.
Contrary to that - great movie!
Yeah I kind a agree. But I thought he was awesome in that hotel scene.
Yea definitely he got a lot better as the film went on - especially in that scene.
