Of course it's a lovely movie, but I'd gone thirty years without ever seeing it. Thankfully a weekend of screenings at the theater two blocks from my apartment offered a perfect opportunity to right that wrong.

I'm pretty sure I saw this in the theater as a kid. If not, there were at least a couple of VHS viewings. Boy--it is not very good, is it? Urich tries, I guess, and Ron Perlman as a fey space-chef is kind of an interesting curiosity.
Oh, and there's a jive-talking pimpbot. So that's something.
We watched this because PSH's small amount of screen time is 100% awesome, but the whole thing is good. Very good.
I liked this a lot more now than I did the first time I saw it.
Be sure to watch the Mattress Man commercial on the second disc of the DVD if you can find it. I'm sure it's online somewhere, too.
