It's one of those things where you know there's SOMETHING YOU SHOULD FIGURE OUT, but there's really no way to figure it out. All the surprises just HAPPEN to facilitate your arrival at the end point where Neesons gets to KICK ALL THE ASS, so don't sweat it. "Just sit back and enjoy the flight," so to speak.
It was more entertaining than expected.
It's mostly silly fun. Almost feels like a late '60s live-action Disney family movie at times, but it ventures into decidedly more adult areas here and there.
Partially filmed in my hometown of Greenwood, MS, apparently! I didn't recognize any sights, but this was made well before I was born.
We watched this because PSH's small amount of screen time is 100% awesome, but the whole thing is good. Very good.
I liked this a lot more now than I did the first time I saw it.
Be sure to watch the Mattress Man commercial on the second disc of the DVD if you can find it. I'm sure it's online somewhere, too.
