Ferris Bueller's Day Off 1986 ★★★★

Reviewed Jul 10, 2012

Such an awesome film. They really don't make films like they did in the 80s.

This film has such a great sense of humour, but it's also coupled with a great plot which plays out with a fantastic sense of momentum. The film is actually quite deep and philosophical, but it doesn't shove this down your throat - it's very subtle.

The characters are brilliant, the acting is great, and so is the script.

Try watching the film with the whole Fight Club perspective: think of Ferris as Tyler Durden, and Cameron as Edward Norton's nameless Fight Club character. It adds a very interesting spin to the film
