I believe Andrew Garfield was a much better Peter Park than Tobey Maguire. He had the wisecracking of the comic book Spider-Man down, unlike the previous movies. I'm not knocking on the original movies, those were great (not Spider-Man 3), but Amazing surpassed them in tone and, more importantly, the portrayal of Peter Parker.
