From its intense dirty-neon opening to its heartwarming final shot, this piece of dystopian underdog dance madness plays its ridiculous concept with total sincerity, and that's what makes it work. It's what I wish HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN had been, tonally speaking.
Treads water slightly in its second act, but it's hardly an issue when the dialogue is this awesome.
