Over the course of one day, timid Jerry Mitchell makes desperate attempts to avoid an after-school confrontation with the infamously savage new "kid" after an accidentally awkward introduction in the restroom resulted in a duel set for a 3:00pm.

While by no means a story that hasn't been told on film before, the sum of this movie's technical aspects and its bizarre touches on a rather predictable template result in something more entertaining and fresh than it needs to be.…
