I found it a bit difficult to empathize with (or spare any concern for the possible catastrophic death of) most of the characters in this story, but I was quite pleased by the awe factor that LVT achieved with the photographic, musical, and stylistic choices in this film. Had it consisted of nothing but the prologue and epilogue, I would have still been thoroughly entertained by the stunning presentation.
