Les Misérables 2012
Finally this one got its Swedish Blu-ray release. To say I've been anticipating it would be an understatement. When Les Mis played in theater, I saw it an unprecedented 5 times - and I was still annoyed when it stopped playing before I could find time for a 6th viewing. The Silence of the Lambs 1991
It has been a great many years since I last saw this one. I've always liked it a lot; this time I loved it. It earns its five stars just from that first scene between Foster and Hopkins alone. It's pretty cool how Demme would go on to make Rachel Getting Married many years later, as the two films couldn't be more different in both content and form.

Shame 2011
Just as great as everyone said it was, with a fascinating story about addiction quite unlike any other I've seen. The same degree of praise goes for Fassbender, who puts in a tremendous performance. While his is the strongest in the film, the more eye-opening one may be Carey Mulligan's.
