This film had the potential. It just missed the mark and tried to be something it wasn't meant to be. The action scenes worked, the characters worked, then I think it tried to be too artsy and surreal for the content. And I actually like me some artsy surrealism. Just not here.
Mark Ruffalo is awesome, and I wish I could sing, then he can start recording all over New York one more time. It is refreshing to see a story of two people who love what they do, love their friendship, and they don't actually have to fall in love with each other.
Oh Marvel, if you were one of my kids you would be my favorite. And Chris Pratt, I have watched you through Everwood, Parks, and even as the coolest plastic toy around, and you keep on being so enjoyable to watch.
