Wreck-It Ralph 2012
Extremely clever, painstaking amalgam of MONSTERS INC. and THE IRON GIANT; funny and elaborately (and carefully) plotted and worth your time. Though: (1) it's not ultimately as good as its inspirations (a little too much mayhem-for-the-sake-of-mayhem); and (2) is that really Sarah Silverman in the most cloying voice performance maybe ever?

The Amazing Spider-Man 2012
Decided to give this a second chance on the plane, but it only annoyed me more -- everything from the inept attempts to imbue the action scenes with miserable motormouth humor to the "romance," which is barely even there and mistakes endless stammering for authenticity. (Compare the courtship between Peter and MJ in the Raimi film, which hardly gets more screentime but pulses with a melancholy energy that this movie wouldn't even be able to understand, much less reproduce.) And that last line should die in a fire. James Horner's score is great, though.
