Attack the Block 2011
A good cast, flawed characters who aren't demonised nor put a pedestal (except for the last scene - the film seemed to forget that it was jailing a man who deserved to be behind bars, no matter how redemptive his story arc was) and brilliantly minimalist designed aliens (which unfortunately did quite resemble cyberpunk "Critters" aliens at points). Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie 1996
Not as good as certain episodes of the TV series it's spawned from, but still hilarious and enjoyable. I always recommend it, but then again I will recommend anything MST3K related to anyone at anytime.

The Shawshank Redemption 1994
I've been recommended this film so many times. The only reason I eventually ended up watching it was because it had just started when I turned the TV on. By the end of it, I was regretting not watching it sooner. A great film.

Black Devil Doll 2007
A puppet gets diarrhoea so potent that, at one point, the shit actually dissolves through a door like acid. The puppet then goes onto rape and murder. That's all you need to know.
