Martyn Perry’s review:
This film was not what I was expecting, certainly not an out and out chickflick.
It's a good realistic portrayal of what life is really like if you hit up bars and stay in crappy hotel rooms.
Funny, interesting with a few great lines. Its silk, its fucked!
Well spotted! No it's not. For some reason it reminded me of Lost in Translation and that movie Broken Flowers with Bill Murray. Then I spotted it was from the director of Up in the Air (which I like) and writer of Juno (which I also like) and it all made sense. Hence my "indie" tag. Pretty cool 90 mins with an unlikeable character that you still find yourself rooting for. Theron did a good job in this film.
