Watched NOLD for the first time around 1976 when I was 8, late at night at my grandparents when everyone else was in bed. On their huge (for back then) B&W console TV. I felt a need to shut it off but just couldn't make myself. The rawness and horror kept me memorized. Needless to say I didn't sleep right for days.
