Starting off this year's horror-watching with a light one. I haven't seen this for years, and Jonathan hadn't seen it at all, so it seemed like a fine time to revisit it, and it's just as much fun as I remembered, with Bela Lugosi and Glenn Strange still managing to creep the place up amidst all the comedy as Dracula and the Frankenstein Monster. As a fan of the old Universal monster movies (though I've admittedly only seen the first entries in most of the series), watching so many of the monsters all come together for mischief and mayhem with Abbott and Costello trying to stop them/stay alive is quite a treat, and most of the jokes still land, even sixty years later.
