Jandy Hardesty’s review published on Letterboxd:
I admit I was worried after the first dialogue scene (between Lee and the Shaolin leader), which was poorly synced and pretty godawful in terms of line readings, but the film picked up quickly after that and even though it was still over the top and ridiculous, it was over the top and ridiculous in the AWESOME way instead of in the grating way I feared.
