What an absolute joy of a ride. I trusted Whedon to pull this ensemble together and balance this group of alpha personalities, and he did - lots of great and witty character moments in between truly thrilling action sequences. The beginning took a little while to get going, but once the Avengers started (forgive me) assembling, the smile barely left my face once.
