I haven't seen Eden Log, and have heard mixed things about it. I must check it out at some point.
It's nice to see 28 Weeks Later get some love, which I actually preferred to 28 Days.
As for more suggestions from this year, off the top of my head, I'd definitely recommend Ex-Drummer, Mad Detective, Murder Party, The Orphanage, REC, and Tmecrimes, if you haven't already seen them.
I went back and forth with Southland Tales and Hot Fuzz on the list. I'm not a huge fan of Hot Fuzz, but I need to re watch Southland before I put it on a list.
I think Eden Log was definitely overlooked when it came out, a fantastic flick. And I always go back and forth to which of the 28... movies I like, I honestly love both.
Haven't seen any of your suggestions yet so I'll add them to my list. Remember hearing about Murder Party when it first came out but never actually knew if it was supposed to be any good or bad. I'm also ashamed I haven't seen The Orphanage yet.
