100 Million BC
2008 ‘100,000,000 BC’ Directed by Griff Furst
Synopsis
An elite military team. Sent back in time. They will not return... Alone.
A scientist from the failed Philadelphia Experiment leads a team of Navy SEALs back in time to the Cretaceous Period to rescue the first team he sent back during the 1940s. Things go wildly awry though, when on his return he accidentally brings a giant, man-eating dinosaur back through the portal and into modern-day, downtown Los Angeles.

I had high hopes for One Million BC seeing as it was directed by, Griff Furst, the man responsible for the greatest film ever made - Arachnoquake. Unfortunately, this one sucks. The Dad from Family Ties plays a scientist from the failed Philadelphia Experiment who, along with a crack (or should that be crap?) team of Navy SEALs, goes back to the Cretaceous period to save the people he originally sent back in time in the ‘40s.
The first half of the film is basically like watching a really boring paint balling weekend as the woefully inept Navy SEALS blindly shoot at, and then get eaten by, primitive CGI (primitive in more ways than one). With the story going nowhere…

A few things this film gets horribly wrong:
It's set 70 million years ago so they can't even get the title right.
At one point they mention that the earth had oxygen levels lower than they are now. That's just straight out bullshit.Oh right, the film itself. It's arse. Do not watch.
