2012 Directed by Aishwarya Dhanush
Synopsis
The film takes on a journey through the love story of Ram (Dhanush) and Janani (Shruti Haasan) who are 12th grade students and eventually fall in love with each other. As they grow up, so does their affinity for each other, and despite opposition from the elders, they tie the knot. When they start a fresh life, problems start to grow up. Apart from the usual misunderstanding difficulties that newly-married couples would face, this is of a different kind. Ram is forced to take a decision in that problematic situation.

The film has many minus Points. But dhanush acting has made everything into plus. You can see this film just for Dhanush

Dhanush is getting more and more matured. Observable acting in the second half especially. Poor Direction and lousy acting by females roles including Shruti Hassan lets the movie down. Great career move by Music director Anirudh.

If this is not a heart wrenching Performance then I don't know what is . Dhanush has given his heart, blood and soul in this one. The climactic sequence is one of the greatest pieces of acting or should I say living the role that I have ever seen. The music just exemplifies the emotions. Great work for a debutant music director. The direction might have fallen in certain places but for extracting this kind of a performance from both the leads in her first film Aishwarya deserves credit. Everything said this film belongs to Dhanush. His work in this is his best yet. Bow to him.

The rather ordinary romantic drama behind the global viral sensation of "Why this Kolaveri" and the electrifying debut soundtrack album of rising composing star Anirudh turned out to be quite the disappointment. Given the young talent involved in the production (the talented, though here badly misused daughter of Kamal Haasan, both the daughter and son-in-law of Rajnikanth) as well as the name supporting cast headed by the charming veteran stars Prabhu and Bhanupriya, this had almost all the hallmarks of a defining moment in Kollywood cinema, a passing of the torch from one generation to another, if you will. Instead, Aishwarya Dhanush, former assistant director to the far more assured and less gimmicky chronicler of romantic bliss and doom, Selvaraghavan,…
