Some funny moments, but nothing memorable.

It is great on sentimentality, but lacks in effort and performance. The first half of this is hard to get through, but I'm to blame cause I know what in getting myself into by watching a Sandler movie. Maybe it is just that the older I get the more I find Adam Sandler un-funny. Drew Barrymore is also hard to watch here. Her acting seems so amateur, it's basically like watching the grown up version of Gerdy from E.T. Only E.T. was much better. The best thing here are the comedic "performances" from Schneider and Aston, they know exactly what they need to be doing in this film, and it is genuine fun. I do however like the sentiment of the film and it is what keeps me in it till the end.

HUE IT'S IN HAWAII

Ridiculous story. Obviously jumping on the band wagon of movies where someone has amnesia but make it a comedy. Adam Sandler is charmless and Drew Barrymore is just air-headed thorughout. As this is supposed to be a comedy, it isn't particularly funny and completely forgettable (pardon the pun).

The acting in this movie is great. I'm a sucker for Adam Sandler because of my childhood, and Drew Barrymore has always been a great compliment to him. I've always found her really cute in a quirky and funny way.
The premise of the movie is beautiful, and through the comedic writing and story that are tailor-fit for these actors, it is a complete success. This movie is extremely feel-good and has that 90's Sandler humor throughout that will keep me watching this movie every few years.

I don't know, it's sweet

A solid Sandler film that remains a solid comedy with a surprisingly heartfelt story.

You know, this movie would probably be a lot better if it weren't for Adam Sandler's loud and brash brand of comedy. While definitely not the best movie in the world, the sentimental part of it is really quite good. It almost becomes a different movie in the second half. It still has a place in my heart, but now I see all of the flaws. And I love the animal interactions!
