A Film With Me In It
2008 Directed by Ian Fitzgibbon
Synopsis
A dissolute scriptwriter and a dejected actor become unwittingly drawn into a labyrinthine mess when several people experience bizarre accidental deaths in their flat. Though the men didn't deliberately cause any of the incidents, they fear that they will be unfairly pegged as murderers if they relay information to the cops, and promptly set about disposing of the corpses in gruesome ways.

An interesting and humorous comedy that loses its way and is uneven but does have genuine humour and Dylan Moran - come on, who doesn't like Dylan Moran?

Dylan Moran is my favourite comedian so knew id like this and I did :)
-
A very dark comedy that was far different than I expected with a VERY original premise
-
It takes a good deal longer than it should to really get into the swing of things, but once it does it gets you laughing big time. Dylan Moran owns this movie: every word that escapes his mouth is comic gold, and his character is a welcome variation on his typecast Bernard Black role. Very tightly plotted and executed with precision and poise, it offers a wonderful sense of comedy in the darkest of areas. It's not a complete success by any means, but I laughed so hard I cried. A lot. Damn funny, well worth seeking out.

"A Film With Me In It" is an Irish black comedy directed by Ian FitzGibbon in 2008. i just watched this one, its pretty intense and has some great moments. Dylan Moran is in it and is amazing and funny as always. It isn't perfect by any means, it is a bit slow at the beginning and I feel like it could have been fleshed out some more, but it was still a good watch.
Mark is down on his luck, he has no work and his rent is way overdue. A string of very strange deadly accidents occur leaving Mark and his upstairs neighbor, Pearce, with a big mess on their hands, one that could ruin their lives forever.…

As you would expect, lots of really dark, british humor. Sadly not too exciting story arc.

My movie on Valentine's Day! What a dark and funny flick.

A fantastic set-up for a black comedy with a few great laughs and winces along the way, but in the end feels rushed and too tidy.
