My Secret Billionaire, The Homeless Billionaire, A Secret Promise, Mi Billonario Secreto, Желание моего отца, Un milliardaire à New York, Babamın Vasiyeti, 我父亲的遗嘱
This same movie was rereleased as The Homeless Billionaire in 2016 and again as My Secret Billionaire in 2021. The movie is credited as A secret Promise on IMDB but has the title of My Father's Will on Letterboxd. What the hell is going on????
have you ever asked yourself “what would it be like if they pulled random people off the street to act out the very first draft of a script and filmed it at a local park?” well look no further! it was funny ig but i couldn’t focus on much besides the … interesting acting
Logging this as half a star under every alias for this movie on Letterboxd because it changed my life for the worse
1 hour in you get curious and look the movie up on IMDB and see this movie has been released under 4 different names, over multiple years.
You see the movie has little to no reviews on Letterboxd.
You start looking into where the movie got its budget, and your cell phone rings.
You pick it up, and the distorted voice of an Italian man from the other end warns you - "QUIT WHILE YOU'RE STILL AHEAD" and hangs up. It's the last words you hear before an ice pick is jammed into the back of your head.
Sophia was brilliant in her role of the daughter, it’s so unfortunate that they cut her out and the world couldn’t see her talents :(
ok this was too good. I was ready to make fun of it but this was so fun and actually made me laugh multiple times unironically. The sense of humor is so absurd and strange I loved it. I need more of whatever this is. MORE MY SECRET BILLIONAIRE CINEMATIC UNIVERSE.
edit: there are apparently 4 different titles that were all released in different years...
Pedro joked that this was a money laundering scheme but, honestly, that's the best explanation.
