In space, no one can hear you scream. No matter how dissapointed you are with 'Alien 4', no one can hear you!
There's always a dissapointing film in a successful batch, but thankfully the first 3 Alien films really set the bar for modern sci-fi horror films.
The classic first film introduced hero Sigourney Weaver to our screens and made us take note of the female action hero. Filled with now iconic sci-fi elements, music, characters and direction by James Cameron, this really tops them all and hasn't been beaten for sheer shocks, surprises and gorey moments. And the Face Hugger is something of nightmares.
The second and film follow suit, using the winning forumla and creating more of the same, yet different, stories about our hero and her quest to save herself, her friends and her people from these alien creatures.

I watched all four films with two friends on the Anthology Blu-Ray in the extended or special cuts from March 15 to 16, 2013.
All in all the quadrilogy is a great piece of cinema history: It consists of defining horror, science fiction and action masterpieces by four legendary directors and portrays the evolution of not only one series but of the genre itself and also the evolution of special effects. For cinephiles, this is a must see anyway, but what makes the Alien series so great and stand out from other series is the fact, that every single entry focusses on something new and original instead of copying its predeccesors.Alien (4.5/5 stars)

I remember buying this with my parents ten years ago, and this is the first time I've actually sat down and watched all 4 films. It's been a ton of fun! While each film is rated differently, the Alien Collection gets a 5/5 do to it's sheer awesomeness. 4 films, 9 disc, massive in depth making of behind the scenes features, one great film franchise.

Visto antes de 2013.
Até hoje mais criativa série alienígena já criada. Deu início a todos as seguintes.
Ainda hoje excelente. -
A good series that started strong then fell down a bit at the last but the love of the earlier films pulls it through :-)

One of the best horror or sci-fi franchises ever. Weighed down slightly by the mismanaged third film and the odd-man-out fourth film.
