Otra maravilla de Adam Curtis...

Curtis explores the ways in which our understanding and use of machines informs our conception of humanity. With a heavy dose of found footage, interviews, and atmospheric music, Curtis weaves together a profoundly pessimistic and convincing account of the contemporary human experience. The film gets a bit scattered in its final third, but Curtis' film leaves a strong impression in favor of the uniqueness of humanity.

Adam Curtis’ new documentary series is certainly grand in its scope; taking in such varied topics as Ayn Rand’s objectivist philosophy, Hamilton and Price’s theories on altruism and the global fiscal collapse. Not only does he cover all this material and much more, but he manages to tie it together in a convincing narrative asserting that we have become dehumanised due to the faith we have put in computerisation. I don’t know of any other film-maker who can make as compelling a story about recent world history or who has such a masterful touch of putting archival footage together. Brilliant

Really amazing documentary. Covers the history of computers and how they've affected the way we view the world. Also talks a lot about the roots of the financial crisis and how we got to where we are today.
