Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: Squeakquel is a very fun film. It does have it's family cliches but it's a solid film but no where as good as the first.

Alvin and company return in an all new adventure, but this time they aren’t the only singing chipmunks on the block. This movie is basically everything it is advertised to be. If you liked the first one, you will most likely enjoy this entry. If you can’t stand the sound of high-pitched pop tunes, you’re better off watching something else. No surprises here.

Dave’s half-wit nephew is tasked with taking care of the boys while that ol’ David Cross shows up to manage the Chippettes as they risk it all in a…concert at some high school? Nearly everything feels dreamed up in a roundtable session - - I’m just not sure who exactly was invited to participate.

Not as good as the first one, but love the introduction of the Chipettes. The kids love it

Oh c'mon I watched reviewed the first one so you knew I would come back and do "the worlds first squeakuel" as well right? No? Well I am anyways.
Much like the first one I waited (shocker) until this one came to DVD and well, The Squeakuel is pretty much exactly what you would expect it to be if you saw the first one. The only difference this time around? Oh yes, The Chipettes. Naturally The Chipettes would show up in the sequel, er squeakuel, the bar had to be raised and what better way to do it The Chipmunk universe then to bring them in.
The Squeakuel is a slight step down from the first movie but not enough…

The first one is better, but David Cross still carries the movie

Everything about this film pisses me off, including the pun in the god damn title.
