Back to the Future Trilogy
‘Back to the Future Collection’
Synopsis
Marty McFly, a typical American teenager of the Eighties, is accidentally sent back to 1955 in a plutonium-powered DeLorean "time machine" invented by slightly mad scientist. During his often hysterical, always amazing trip back in time, Marty must make certain his teenage parents-to-be meet and fall in love - so he can get back to the future.

The ‘80s gets a rough deal when it comes to film. Seen by many as the death of great cinema and the birth of the dumb blockbuster it is easy to ignore the fact that there was an awful lot of great storytelling to enjoy during the decade with a number of directors working at the tops of their game. One such film is Robert Zemeckis’ near perfect, Back to the Future.
Part 1 - It hasn't aged a day has it? Obviously by being set predominantly in the past it avoids a lot of the issues that cause films to date but even so the plot, performances, pacing and jokes are all fresh and flawless. For all the clever…

Timeless entertainement.

Note: Usually I would count these individually, but I watched them in a marathon and honestly can't be stuffed reviewing each of them.
One of the greatest trilogies of all time. Part 1 and 2 remain brilliant and more complex than people think, and even though I still consider Part III the weakest, it's much better than I remember, with a great sense of fun and a lot of great character-based humour. This is too much fun.

As a threesome it works so much better than its individual parts. So many genres, so much wonderfully weird humor... One of the best trilogies.

all I can say is that this will always be either my number one or my number two favorite film of all time because of what it is about, the plot line that ensues and the message hidden inside

BACK TO THE FUTURE III (1990) ***
Audrey spent the entire day trying to figure out the time travel conundrums of these three films. The first is one of the most amazing films ever made - a terrific combination of sci-fi, comedy, nostalgia, and action where every element pulls together for some kick ass entertainment. Study, study, study this movie. The second shows what the first could have been if the humanity didn't pull through. The plot mechanics and effects override the characters, and the movie doesn't work (I sure miss Crispian Glover). Tom Wilson (Biff/Griff/Mad Dog Tannen) is pretty amazing in all three movies though, and… -
The past, the future, and the wild west! If I start watching the first one, all three will end up being watched within a week of each other, so I can never rate one without the other two. Sure, the sequels are not as strong as the original but that does not mean the entertainment value is any less. So, pack your bags and go on a wild ride with Eric S... Wait. I mean, pack your bags and begin your journey with the film that made Michael J. Fox a Hollywood star.

Best movie of Micheal J. Fox. Best movie about time travel.

One of the few trilogies that hold up as strong as they did when they were released. It's also one that I doubt few haven't seen!
Propelling Michael J Fox as uber-cool teen time traveller Marty McFly to super stardom and with iconic support from Christopher Lloyd as Emmet 'Doc' Brown, everything about the 3 films oozes style, wit, passion for film making and creative imagination unlike anything seen since.
Travelling through time back to the 1950s, fighting to save the future in the 00s and witnessing history in the 1800s, each film is full of great humour, exciting action and brilliant special effects and hold up as real timeless films.
They don't make them like this anymore. Great Scott!

Apesar do futuro proposto pelo filme já ter passado e não estarmos ainda voando já temos as vídeo conferências.
Filme excelente e um das melhores trilogias já criadas até hoje. Futurista. Criativa. Engraçada.
Impossível de perder.

The only way to witness the full power of the Back To The Future trilogy is to watch them back to back in order...
