Far funnier than I expected and highly recommended to just about anyone who has ever been on that side of the classroom.
Pre-release this was billed as a Cameron Diaz/Justin Timberlake movie, and though Cameron Diaz is the unquestionably the star, Jason Segel steals just about every scene he appears in his appropriately understated performance as the school gym teacher. Jason Segel is hilarious and JT is a funny geek. Cameron Diaz needs more botox tho, but otherwise its a really funny & inappropriate film.

Surprisingly solid and at around 90 minutes, the joke doesn't get chance to wear thin. Predictable plot arcs aside, Diaz and Segel are excellent and the punchy set pieces well thought out. We've all wanted to write 'what does this fucking MEAN?' on something, at some point. More on the site.

I laughed about 10 times. Above average that. Yeah, good stuff.

What can I say? I really enjoyed it, despite its poor reputation. Oh, sure, in the Bad stakes it's no Santa, but I got a lot of laughs out of the excellent cast and amusing dialogue.

I skipped this movie because the only thing in the trailer that made me laugh was the Lebron James argument. I was still intrigued though, mainly because Jake Kasdan also made Orange County and Walk Hard, both of which I love.
Somehow they mostly avoided the lame obvious jokes I was expecting, and instead turned in a pretty great comedy. The cast is a huge part of it, and we get great turns from virtually everybody. I thought Diaz, Segel,…
