I hate bees. But then again I'm not particularly fond of ants and I really like A Bugs Life and Antz is okay. This, however, was pretty awful. Bee/honey puns are not funny and even if they were, they grow tiresome pretty quickly. I even found the animation itself quite dull. Some of the voice cast was pretty good, though, but that's about as much as I enjoyed.

Based on the fact that my daughter still feels that this is a great and funny movie to watch.
I shared that feeling until I saw this movie for more than fifty times. Still she is laughing and enjoying it, hence the four stars

Bee Movie is the greatest movie of our generation.
From the self-deprecating word play on 'B movie' in the title to the mediocre jokes, the entire movie is a satire designed to showcase how the film industry of today has become a parody of itself, helplessly scrambling to find a concept that hasn't already been done to death.
I feel blessed for having had the honour to watch it in my lifetime and I feel truly sorry for everyone who has been cheated out of the opportunity to have their horizons broadened.

Honestly, this movie might be fine. But I worked at Rite Aid for a summer and this played on the TV behind the counter every single day, and after, say, viewing 27, I hated this movie more than anything else on the planet.

Most of the jokes are poor bee or honey puns that do little to aid the story and lots to boost Jerry Seinfeld's ego.

Although the plot was lacking (and parts of the animation), the movie in itself is pretty good. Some decent jokes and some great animation.
