What if instead of Elliot, E.T. was found by total dickheads? Solid Premise. Decent Movie.
Yeah the alien is a stupid cute character but the other characters are frighteningly unlikeable soooo
2001 made for TV gross out comedy with an alien creature that was pretty impressive. Some pretty solid jokes & fun flick that could definitely be put out by Vinegar Syndrome.
Not bad. Feels like if Tom Green was allowed to make a Disney Channel Original Movie. If you're familiar with both of these concepts, then you should expect corniness, loads of gross-out, a fair bit of female (and male) fanservice and some schmaltzy morals. The effects on the aliens were quite decent and the humor hits the mark once in a while. If you have to go out of your way to watch this, don't bother. Otherwise, this won't hurt you. Just don't eat nor watch this with other people lest you embarrass and/or throw up on yourself.
Horizontally challenged E.T. versus three douchebags with plenty of fart/shit jokes abound in a movie I never knew I needed but that I now—shamefully/shamelessly???—love.
Side Note: I own the region 2 dvd which has it under the title CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE NERD KIND, which I prefer over BEER MONEY if I’m being honest.
