I'm an unapologetic Broken Lizard fan, granted, Puddle Cruiser and Slammin' Salmon are bad, but everyone likes Super Troopers, and Club Dread has some biting satire on hedonism, Hedonism, horror films, and the group itself, reversing all their roles in Super Troopers.
Beerfest has cheap humor, but it does it well. Not quite as sharp as Club Dread, but the Landfill's brother joke is hilarious (actually, everything Kevin Heffernan says is pretty funny); it continues the role reversal gag; the sound design on the frogs is first-rate (never thought I'd have to write that again); and Jay Chandrasekhar's direction is, as always, overlooked. The guy has talent.

Classic. Anyone who watched Comedy Central back in the day has seen this five thousand times.

Who doesn't love Super Troopers? Unfortunately Broken Lizard's movies took a decline after that...not a terribly steep one, but an inexorable one, and this is two movies down the line. Many giggles are to be had; not so many big laughs. Likeable enough.

Totally bad cinema but gets two points for including the game of Thumper which I played in college. I guess this is a comedy troop who specializes in making bad movies– another object lesson to not buy DVDs before seeing movie – my love of beer gets me again!

A typical American movie, silly comedy and where Americans invariably have to overcome and win. Is cool if you have nothing more to do on saturday and you'r watching tv.

This is, by far, my favorite Broken Lizard film. Which is funny because I don't drink. The movie is endlessly quotable and I can watch it over and over again.

Movie actually gets better with each viewing and I think it depends highly on how much drinking you cam watch. Gam Gam is a highlight for sure. Really a great cast overall. The beer goggles were hilarious.
