Another short for How To Train Your Dragon which gives a lot of more background into the dragons themselves. It's very interesting for fans of the film, and whilst it isn't telling much of a story, it's animated really well.

Just a Pokedex for Dragons.
Nice animations and drawings but a massive lack of story and message.
The jokes weren't working for me, either. -
A little better than the Legend of the Boneknapper Dragon but nothing close to the Gift of the Night Fury. This one is just a lot of information about dragons and scenes from the film. Still, I was curious about the Changewing Dragon (the one that's like a chameleon) and I hope it appears in the next film.

This isn't really a short film in that it doesn't have a "story" - it's an animated lesson on dragons with lots of "facts" and goofy dialog. The animation was fun, though - it combines 2D-style with the usual 3D. Worth watching just for the animation study.

Appears on the same DVD/Blu-ray as Gift of the Night Fury. This one, like Kung Fu Panda: Secrets of the Furious Five, uses a lot of 2D animation (think Samurai Jack style) to just expand the Dragon univerve. Again, it's just fine, but inessential.
