WARNING: THIS REVIEW SMELLS OF DEATH!!!
Bianchi’s notorious zombie shocker often plays second fiddle to the likes of the Italian ‘big boys’ of the genre, with Fulci’s Zombie Flesh Eaters, The Beyond, City of the Living Dead and The House by the Cemetery stealing the hearts (and brains) of most horror fans. Add to this already impressive list the likes of Marino Girolami's Zombie Holocaust, Lenzi’s fun, radioactive zombie apocalypse vehicle Nightmare City, and even Mattei’s cheese-fest Zombie Creeping Flesh, and The Nights of Terror is oft forgotten, or relegated to B-Class status.
Filmed in 1981, riding on the wave of the post Dawn of the Dead zombie craze, and hopping straight onto the Fulci zombie band-wagon, Burial Ground is…

Schlechte Schauspieler, Schlechtes Drehbuch, Schlechter Schnitt, Schlechte Maske, Schlechte Effekte. Mehr gibt es zu diesem uninspirierten Italo-Trash wirklich nicht zu sagen. -
In my humble opinion Burial Ground is one of the best Zombie movies ever made. As a child I endured recurring nightmares for months after my first viewing. I couldn’t watch an episode of Worzel Gummidge without suffering from flashbacks. While not quite as terrifying for an adult viewer, the sheer ridiculousness and quirkiness make it just as enjoyable.
Uncharacteristic of Italian Zombie films, Burial Ground’s dead rise early and feature heavily throughout. They rise out of the brown dirt and uproot green grass giving them an earthy weight. They really are the stars and the director isn’t afraid to show them off. The rest of the film however is Italian to the core; badly dubbed, terrible actors reading awful…

This has to be one of the best zombie movies out there for all the wrong reasons! Take one of the worst movie's you have ever seen and x by 100, Add some of the most unintentional comedy genius you've ever seen and you have Burial Ground! Theres a dwarf who must be well in his 50's playing a boy of 10,complete with wig and everything! Well this is the most funniest stuff you will ever see,he even tries it on with his mum, and bites her boobie off! PRICELESS! Please i urge you to check this out and watch as a comedy, the tears are still rolling down my checks as i write this and i've seen it loads of times, COMEDY GOLD!

A group of students head out to an Italian vila to meet up with their professor who is studying the supposed undead. But soon it's the undead they'll be meeting up with instead!
Burial Ground: The Nights of the Terror is light on plot and dialogue but heavy on zombie action. With it's no-nonsense spirit but all-nonsense plot that has the undead rising and continuously stalking in it's opening minutes, the film manages to keep the audience entertained with cheap but effective effects and a fresh (probably not the right word) take on the look of the undead. It's a race from the jaws of death for 85 minutes as the rag tag cast of one-dimensional characters try to escape.…

The ultimate masterpiece of Italian zombiedom. There is not a more entertaining movie than this one.

The moral of this movie is to stop breast feeding your child after an appropriate age, cause if not they will end up turning into a weirdo who becomes a zombie and bites your nipple off.

Oh…my…goodness…..what…have…I…..just …watched

A few of my buddies have this down as one of the mandatory Eurotrash movies of the 70s/80s. Thanks to the beauty of full length movies on YouTube I have finally come around to watching this.
Definitely very entertaining even though the make-up effects are terrible and the film is at times quite repetitive.
Creepiest thing in this film, however, is the weird looking "teenage" son who is played by a small guy who appears to be older than the girl who portrays his mother. I guess they couldn't employ a proper kid due to some bizarro incestuous scenes later on between the two characters.
But what can I say? It's those kind of gonzo Euroflicks that always cheer me up endlessly.

Dull, boring and no plot! Why did I see it again? Why?
The zombies in this film uses tools like axes and scythe and in the end even power tools. A zombie kid (played by an adult) bites off his mothers breast. -
Wow what can i say.... this movie has a midget playing a kid and he's obviously way older than the age he is playing! "MAMA"

Daft zombie film from the guy who made my favourite sleazebag giallo. Zombies provided by Gino De Rossi. Weng Weng/Argento clone provided by science gone mad, presumably.
Also featuring undead incest and instant death from minor ouchies.

Nights of Terror is an absolutely terrible film and therefor a lot of fun if you're into italo splatter trash.
