me: oooh YEAh👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 thats the good shit right there 😫😫💦💦 king of filmmaking 🏆🏆📽👌🏼💯💯
"gus, you son of a bitch, you screwed the steering wheel on backwards, I crashed damn it, you son of a bitch. I'm fine obviously. stop crying.
This short film really doesn’t have much going on (unless you do some crazy interpretation), but Wes Anderson still managed to make it enjoyable with his fun and playful style.
I don’t really have much more to say. If you like his other work you will probably enjoy this too.

It's literally nothing more than Jason Schwartzman crashing a car, interacting with some elderly Italians for several minutes, and then having a phone conversation.
That's it.
But it's directed by Wes Anderson, and even when virtually nothing is happening in a Wes Anderson film, it's still somehow fun.
[inserts text about how i worship the ground wes anderson walks on and how much i fancy jason schwartzman]
Why can't Jason Schwartzman crash his racing car in my town. I can cook him spaghetti
This is what heaven looks like when you accept Prada as your lord and savior.
im just a dumb bisexual, i see wes anderson and the colour yellow and i lose my fucking mind.
The Good: Symmetrical framing? Check. Wide angle lens? Check. Tracking shots? Check. Panning shots? Check. Storybook world? Check. Deadpan delivery? Check. Jason Schwartzman? Check. New Wes Anderson film? Fuck, yeah.
The Bad: Where's Bill Murray? No Bill Murray?! I need more Bill Murray!
The Bottom Line: Sometimes, we go too fast that we forget to enjoy the view, and sometimes, it takes a fall to make us stop and appreciate the simpler things in life. Castello Cavalcanti is worth a look.
